IPA Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame is the highest honor awarded to those individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Indiana Percussion Association and who have in some way influenced the course of our history. Their contribution may be made through artistic standards, administrative leadership, or adjudication.

 

On April 2nd we acknowledge three individuals in to the Indiana Percussion Association’s inaugural Hall of Fame class:

  • RUSTY BOTTOMLEY

  • DANIEL FYFFE

  • JAY WEBB

These gentlemen played integral roles in laying the groundwork for the Indiana Percussion Association and the success it sustains today. We are forever grateful for their hard work in helping our association thrive to this day. Congratulations Rusty, Daniel, and Jay! You will forever be enshrined members of the Indiana Percussion Association.

  • Active board of directors participant

  • First unofficial meetings took place at his home

DANIEL FYFFE

  • 7-time IPA State Champion

  • 6-time WGI World Champion

  • WGI Hall of Fame member

  • 3 times performing at IMEA conference

  • 1 time performing at Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic

  • 1 time performing at PAS International Convention

  • First host of the IPA Clinic Day

  • Secretary 1997

  • President 2001-2001

  • Active IPA historian

JAY WEBB

  • 13-time IPA State Champion

  • 5-time WGI World Champion

  • WGI Hall of Fame member
